

A major reconstruction project for the section of the federal highway M-4 "Don" has begun in the Rostov region
A major reconstruction project has begun in the Rostov Region for a section of the M-4 Don federal highway with a length of about 90 kilometers (from 933 to 1024 km). This section passes through the territory of Kamensk, Krasnosulinsky and Oktyabrsky districts, the city of Kamensk-Shakhtinsky and the city of Shakhty, Rostov region. The reconstruction involves widening the road to six lanes, which will ensure comfortable and safe movement of vehicles.
Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin stressed the importance of the project, noting that the modernization would reduce the number of accidents and increase the capacity of the highway.
According to Vyacheslav Petushenko, head of the Avtodor State-owned Company, the reconstruction will create significant benefits for the residents of the region and make the highway more convenient and safer.
