Hundreds of kilometers of roads are being prepared to be repaired and built in the Volgograd region
Over 350 kilometers of highways will be repaired and built in the Volgograd Region this year. In parallel, the development of project documentation for 2026-2027 is underway.
373 kilometers of roads are planned to be built and repaired in the Volgograd region in the new road season. The work will be carried out with the support of the national project "Infrastructure for Life", as well as the programs "Integrated Rural Development" and "Development of the transport system and road safety".
According to the regional administration, 352 kilometers of highways will be built and renovated this year. Of these, 285 kilometers will be regional and inter-municipal roads. In Volgograd, repair work will affect 32 kilometers of roads, in Volzhsky — 23.
It is planned to overhaul sections of the Zhirnovsk—Rudnya — Vyazovka— Kumylzhenskaya—Vyoshenskaya highway in the Kumylzhensky district and Mikhaylovka. In addition, the construction of the Samolshinsky—Gushchinsky road will continue, as well as the reconstruction of the Rechensky — Ryabovsky — Yezhovka—Dudarevsky road in the Alekseevsky district.
